OBSERVE-ARDS Clinical Trial
Observational Biomarker Study for the Evaluation of Response and Validation of Endotypes in Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome
OBSERVE-ARDS (Observational Biomarker Study for the Evaluation of Response and Validation of Endotypes in ARDS) is an observational study collecting baseline and longitudinal biological data to develop and validate ARDS-specific algorithms that identify the patients most likely to benefit from investigational therapies. Where possible, OBSERVE-ARDS enrolls patients from BARDA-supported ARDS program trials and sites.
Data and evidence collected during OBSERVE-ARDS may support the development of current and future BARDA investigational therapies, working toward the goal of bringing new ARDS therapies and devices to market.
Together with the precision therapeutics clinical trial network Prenosis is building across academic medical centers, OBSERVE-ARDS extends an integrated approach to ARDS research, targeting treatment strategies, maximizing the impact of ARDS therapeutic investments, and building the infrastructure for next-generation precision therapeutics trials.
