Carlos Lopez-Espina

Chief Technology Officer

Carlos Lopez-Espina is an innovator and multidisciplinary problem solver focused on biotechnology, clinical research and product development.

Carlos led the building of the Prenosis platform, the world’s most comprehensive system for understanding acute immune response. Previously he worked in medical devices and diagnostics in a wide range of disciplines aimed at converting ideas into solutions, including several successful FDA clearances and market launches of IVD devices. Carlos studied aeronautical engineering at the Polytechnic University of Madrid and earned his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
